Soy Juan Ángel Olmedo Hernández, tengo 24 años de edad, soy una persona tranquila y amable puedo entablar conversación con cualquier persona. Tengo una familia maravillosa, mi madre es mi principal motor, mi padre en paz descanse era el mejor y siempre me sacaba adelante, me dio todo lo que pudo y aun lo hace cada día pues intercede por mí, tengo 5 hermanas a las que quiero y me quieren mucho, yo soy muy sociable, me gusta mucho la música, mi genero preferido es la banda, le sigue electrónica y después todo los géneros, puedo escuchar de todo, toco el teclado y quiero tocar guitarra, estoy en un grupo llamado Big Boy´s donde los demás integrantes también son parte de ADMO estoy escribiendo 2 canciones una habla de amor otra de superación y un corrido que habla de mi.Soy muy positivo y por las cosas que he vivido soy una persona muy fuerte emocionalmente. Siempre me mantengo activo, dibujo y vendo dibujos, se coser, me gusta inventar cosas, me gusta cantar canciones de banda y una que otra romántica, me gusta salir a pasear a plazas, cines y bares, me fascina jugar FIFA, Xbox, o Play station, en deportes adoro el futbol, le sigue el tenis y futbol americano, mi equipo favorito es el América de México, el Real Madrid de España y el chelsy de Inglaterra, en futbol americano le voy a las águilas de filadelfia. En tenis en las damas me gusta Caroline Whosniaki, y Ana Sharapova, y soy fan de Novak Djokovic.
Me gustan las muchachas, las güeritas, me gusta tomarme fotos con toda muchacha guapa que llego a conocer, y me gusta tratarlas lo mejor que pueda, sacarles platica y conversar se me facilita, me gustan las pelis de acción, me fascinan los autos, la velocidad, las motos, me gustan las bebidas como las piñas coladas, sex on the beach, el vodka, el new mix, vampiros, buchannans, me gusta organizar reuniones para jugar domino o baraja, cotorrear, me gusta conversar con las personas, algunas veces les doy consejos, me gusta comer panditas, gomitas ja, ja, ja, me gusta mucho la arrachera y la cecina, acompañado de un buen puré o cualquier tipo de papa, al ornó o a la francesa, uso mucho el face y whatsapp para platicar con amistades, amigas, amigos, familia. Quiero hacer varias cosas que en mi vida serian muy agradables vivirlas. Poco a poco se que llegaran, y a lo mejor se darán y si no se dan, por lo menos lo intentare. Estas cosas que quiero hacer no son imposibles pero se ocupa apoyo, quisiera ir de antro, ir al estadio azteca y conocer a jugadores del América, subirme a un Lamborghini que es mi auto favorito, pasear en un crusser convertible, subirme a un Camaro, tener un auto de control remoto un lamborghini. Quisiera estudiar algo referente con dibujo. Tengo en mente y quiero realizar unos proyectos que yo cree. Conocer a Maite perrony y a Julion Alvarez. Algún día si Dios me lo permite pretendo casarme en Cancún, je, je, claro encontrar a la afortunada, ja,ja.

My name is Juan Angel Olmedo Hernandez, I´m 24, I describe myself as quiet and kind person and I am sure I could talk with anyone. I have a wonderful family, my mother is my main driver, my father has passed away; he was the best and usually, he drags me out from my solitude and did what he could. I will always keep him in my heart. He still is watching for me from heaven. I have 5 sisters that I love and they do love me back. I am easy-going and I like people and music. I play videogames, Xbox or PS, love FIFA15. In sports I follow Soccer, Tennis and Football. My Teams: America (México), Real Madrid (spain) and Chelsea (UK), NFL Philadelphia Eagles. I am fan of Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Sharapova and Novak Djokovic.

I like “güeritas” (blondies), take selfies with all pretty girl I know; I always treat them with respect, chat is easy for me. My favorites are the action movies, I love all about cars, speed, motorcycles; my drinks, “piña colada”, “sex on the beach”, vodka and whisky. I organize poker or domino meetings with friends. Sometimes I gave them my advice. I love gummy bears, meat with mash potato, French Fries. I use a lot Facebook and WhatsApp to maintain contact with family and friends.

I would like to do many things, experience them, and I know I eventually will but if not, I will try. To reach these things I need help. I want to go to a discotheque, visit the “Estadio Azteca”, know the players of my soccer team, America, at Mexico City, ride in my favorite car, Lamborghini, and ride a convertible Camaro and have a RC Car. I want to study something about Draw and Design. I want to reach and develop some projects that I have in mind. I want to know some Mexican artists like Mayte Perrioni, Juilion Alvarez and many more.

Someday, if God bless me and I find the right-one, I will marry her at Cancun. LOL.

Hola soy Erick Roberto voy en segundo grado de primaria, tengo Distrofia Muscular. Nací en el Estado de México, tengo una hermana que se llama Tania de 18 años. Me gusta ver videos en internet, dibujar y escuchar música, me gustan los peluches. Mi sueño es conocer China, quiero ser Chef de grande para cocinar Cup cakes.

Shyam has a passion for animals, especially pets. He loves dogs, cats, pups, kittens and of course birds. Shyam cannot pass by without hugging a cute kitten which crosses his way. Well, he says, it is not the kittens and puppies alone that fascinate him, but it is in general the animal kingdom. He feels they have equal rights to live in this world and must be honoured for what they are. They should never be hurt or left uncared. They haves lives too like us …says Shayam. Moving from the pets he goes on to the ferocious wild jungle inhabitants too. He says the tigers are nothing less than our best friends. It is as important as our best friends in the school or neighborhood. It is so alarming that they are dwindling in number and there is no one to pause for a moment to think about them. The majestic white tigers of the Sunderbans in India are a pride to the country itself. They are too less in number too. They are hardly visible these days. Shyam very emotionally touching his heart asks us … do you know why this is happening? The reason is quite simple. It is because of the scarcity of trees and forests which is due to deforestation and scarcity of water bodies. It is our duty to take care of these loving animals. The more love we show them, the more attracted they are towards us. So let us start loving animals. Please do not kill animals, they are close to my heart and soon make them your friends and they will be close to your heart too.

As all other boys, I love to play and jump and be a tom boy, though not much these days as my activities are restricted, but the moment I see my friends over the fence or with a cricket bat, I intend to pick up one start my play. It is all the confidence that the people around me have given till today. Without pets or animals my only company and passion is playing outdoors. I wish each day is a Sunday and I can be happy playing all day with my friends and cherish those memories all my life. I just love what I am doing…. Friends always be happy and do something that you like to make your self happy …. This is the bottomline of Shyam sunder’s heart. Most of the time, Shyam is with his grand mother who best takes care of him and so he includes her as one of his best friends. The picture shows Shyam with his grand mom.

Hola! Soy Benjamín Jeremías Reynoso,  tengo 6 años, vivo en la localidad de Funes,  Provincia de Santa Fe,  Argentina, junto a mis padres y hermanos. Tomás (17), Esteban (14), Santiago (12) y Aarón (10) son mis hermanos mayores, Gerardo y Gisela mis padres. Me gusta dibujar, ir a la escuela,  mirar dibujos animados y reír mucho. Mis 3 hermanos más grandes y yo vivimos con DMD, aunque es difícil, no me impide ser niño y ser feliz. Todos nos esforzamos por aprender y buscar alternativas para tener las mismas oportunidades siempre aunque algunas se presenten como desafios. Mi mayor anhelo es que logremos tener una casa propia con las adaptaciones que precisamos y encontrar la cura definitiva de duchenne. Quisiera escribir más pero bueno,  solo tengo 6 años… Me voy a jugar con mis hermanos! Hasta la próxima!

Hi! My name is Benjamin Jeremiah Reynoson and I am 6 years old. Mi chiamo Gianmario Fortunato ho 34 anni sono della provincia di Brescia. Ho la DMD diagnosticata all’ età di 6 anni, ho camminato fino a 11 anni. Ho due grandi sogni, il primo è una vita senza DMD se non per me almeno per i bambini che la hanno e per quelli che nasceranno, il secondo è quello di trovare l’amore puro, avere figli, una vita pseudo normale. Tutta la mia infanzia è stata meravigliosa nonostante la dmd e le esperienze preferite che ho vissuto, sono state avere fatto un giro in elicottero ed su una Ferrari F40 a 200 km/h, due esperienze con andrenalina pura. La mia visione delle cose mi porta a pensare che se potessi cambiare qualcosa nel mondo, cambierei la sensibilità delle persone. Vorrei un mondo come una volta, come quello dei nostri nonni, dove si viveva con le porte aperte e se un vicino aveva bisogno lo aiutavi . Vorrei un mondo dove la gente che non fa nulla per nessuno e parla male e critica per invidia, capisse il vero senso del silenzio della non critica ma solo collaborazione .. Vorrei un mondo con meno gente arrabbiata perché la vita è una sola!

My name is Gianmario Fortunato; I’m 34 and I live near Brescia, in Northern Italy. I was diagnosed with DMD when I was 6 and I was able to walk until the age of 11. My dream would be a life without DMD; if not for me, at least for little children who are being diagnosed now and for the ones still to be born. My other dream is to find my true love, to have kids, a pseudo-normal life. My childhood was amazing, in spite of my DMD and my favorite experiences in my life have been had a helicopter tour, and another time I had the chance to ride a Ferrari F40 at 240 km/hour – these were experiences filled with pure adrenaline. My vision of life leads me to think that if I could change something in the world, I would like to change people’s sensitivity. I’d like to live in a world more similar to our grandparents’ one, when people used to leave their doors open and to help one’s neighbor if he was in need. I’d like to live in a world in which people who usually don’t help others and criticize those who do that (out of envy for them) could understand the value of silence and collaboration and stop badmouthing other people. I would like people to live less angrily, because you only live once!

Mein grösster Traum ist ein Aston Martin zu besitzen

Ich heisse Mattias Fries. Im September werde ich 11 Jahre alt. Ich wohne in Luzern in der Schweiz. Ich habe Duchenne Muskeldystrophie. Mein grösster Traum ist ein Aston Martin zu besitzen. Mein Vater meint, auch in meinen Blutadern würde Benzin fliessen :-). Ich spiele gerne mit Lego und mit Autos. Ich mag auch Computerspiele. Wenn ich etwas auf der Welt ändern könnte, würde ich ein Heilmittel für Duchenne erfinden. Zu einem Abendessen würde ich meine Mama, mein Papa und meine Schwester einladen. Ich gehe sehr gerne auswärts essen und mag ein schön gedeckter Tisch und Kerzenlicht. Und italienisches Essen! Weder mit dem Handrollstuhl noch mit dem elektrischen Rollstuhl kann ich im Wald oder am Strand fahren. Das finde ich doof. Seit ich den Zoom habe, kann ich wieder über Stock und Stein im Wald fahren. Ich finde es auch ganz toll am Strand zu fahren! www.zoomability.com/de/

Meine beste Erinnerung stammt von meinem ersten Besuch in Disney Land in Paris. Das hat unglaublich viel Spass gemacht! An einem ganz normalen Tag wache ich gegen 7 Uhr auf. Ich ziehe mich an und gehe frühstücken. Um 7.50 Uhr setze ich mich in den elektrischen Rollstuhl. Meine Schwester und ich gehen zusammen in die Schule. Ich gehe sehr gerne in die Schule und mag alle Fächer. Am liebsten Mathematik! Wenn die Schule um 11.45 Uhr aus ist, gehen wir nach Hause zum Mittagessen. An drei Tagen in der Woche muss ich auch am Nachmittag in die Schule. Oft habe ich Hausaufgaben zu erledigen. Manchmal spiele ich mit einem Freund. Ich gehe früh ins Bett, oft schon um 20 Uhr. Gestern haben mein Vater und ich eine Ausstellung am Bodensee mit alten Autos, Boote und Flugzeuge besucht. Wir haben in einem Hotel übernachtet, das mache ich gerne. Ich habe sehr lange TV geschaut. Morgen gehe ich zuerst in die Schule. Nach dem Mittagessen fahren meine Mama und ich nach Paris. Ich nehme seit zwei Jahren an einer klinischen Studie für ein neues Medikament dort teil. Wir fahren mit dem Schnellzug, mit dem TGV, nach Paris. Während der Reise spiele ich Spiele oder schaue auf meinem Tablet Filme. Wir übernachten im Hotel. Ein erfolgreicher Tag für mich ist, wenn ich abends gemütlich ins Bett gehe, etwas lese und danach einschlafe.

My name is Mattias Fries. I celebrate my 11^th birthday in September. I live in Lucerne, Switzerland. I have Duchenne muscular dystrophy. My biggest dream is to have an Aston Martin. My father says, I am a petrol head… I like to play with Lego and with cars. I also like computer games. If I could change anything in the world, I would find a cure for Duchenne. I would invite my mum, my dad and my sister for dinner. I like to eat in restaurants and I appreciate nice restaurants with white table cloths and candle light. And I adore Italian food! My best memory is from my first visit at the Disney Land in Paris. I really loved it! I get up at 7 o’clock in the morning. I get dressed and eat my breakfast. My sister and I leave for school together. I like all school subjects, but I like mathematics best. When school finish at 11.45, my sister and I come back home for lunch. Three days a week I have school during afternoon. I have to do my home works every day. Sometimes I play with a friend. I go to bed early, mostly at 20 o’clock.Yesterday my father and I visited an exhibition with old cars, boats and planes. We spent the night in a hotel. I like that. I watched TV too long in the evening! Tomorrow I will first go to school. After lunch my mum and I go to Paris. There I take part in a clinical trial for a new medicine. We take the fast train, the TGV, to Paris. During the trip I play games or watch movies on my tablet. We stay at a hotel in Paris. My day is a success when I in the evening cosily go to bed and read something and then fall asleep…

Je suis Mohamed, j’ai 10 ans et je vis a m’sila dans l’est de l’Algérie. Je vais a l’école en compagnie de mon père parce que j’ai des difficultés a me déplacé tous seule, j’aime la nature et la mer. Mon plus grand souhait c’est que les chercheurs trouve un traitement pour guérir les malades du monde entier qui ont la Dystrophie Musculaire de Duchenne.

I’m Mohamed, I am 10 years old and I live in m’sila in easthern Algéria. My dad goes to school with me, because I have difficulties moving by myself. I love nature and the sea. My greatest wish is that researchers find a cure for patients worldwide who have Duchenne muscular dystrophy.

Mi nombre es Federico Videla, tengo 24 años y hace esa misma cantidad de años que convivo con Distrofia Muscular Duchenne ;naci en La Plata, ciudad en donde vivo y desarrollo la mayoría de mis actividades diarias; Estudio en la Facultad de Periodismo una tecnicatura de Periodismo Deportivo, hace un año y pico arranque un programa de radio junto con mi hermana llamado Deporte sin Barreras donde hablamos de deporte, y deporte adaptado, también presentamos bandas de rock;A la vez me propusieron ser parte de la fundación de Powerchair para crear una sede de futbol en silla de ruedas motorizada en mi ciudad y ser jugador; Ya que esta no cuenta con muchos deportes adaptados.Mi sueño es recibirme de periodista deportivo, ser comentarista, y poder concretar el proyecto de la sede de futbol en silla de ruedas a motor en la ciudad de La Plata, promover el deporte, participar de algún torneo, en fin lograr que mi ciudad tenga más deportes para los que tenemos alguna discapacidad; Construir un mundo más inclusivo, donde halla accesibilidad y se respeten nuestros Derechos. Soy fanático de Gimnasia y Esgrima De La Plata por lo que los fines de semana que juega de local, me gusta ir a la cancha a ver el partido, también salir a ver bandas o juntarme con amigos. Porque me divierte y distrae un poco de toda la semana agitada. Si pudieras cambiar algo en el mundo, ¿qué cambiarías? Son muchas, pero …principalmente me gustaría cambiar la mirada de algunas personas hacia la discapacidad, intentar que entiendan que aunque tengamosalguna discapacidad o capacidad diferente, podemos hacer lo que nos gusta, participar de deportes, salir con amigos; Que sientan que no hay barreras y si sentimos que las hay demostrar que podemos superarlas, no enojarnos o bajonearnos sino por el contrario darle para adelante con esfuerzo y optimismo. Me gustaría compartir una cena con mis tres ídolos, Mi papá Raúl, que siempre me acompaña; Mi abuelo Coco que falleció y quedaron cosas por compartir y Pedro Troglio el dt del club de mis amores.En realidad hay varias experiencias favoritas a lo largo de mi vida; una de ellas, el primer día de radio en mi programa, donde adquiero conocimientos y experiencias todos los días ,otras poder ir a salas de conferencias de prensa, participar de distintas jornadas de deporte adoptado entre ellas buceo; también el día que me entregaron un premio en reconocimiento por lo que hacemos en el programa (fue muy gratificante) y la más reciente y emotiva tal vez que fue poder hacerle una entrevista a León Gieco. Mi mejor recuerdo..cuando fui a la cancha por primera vez con mi papa, porque conocí un mundo nuevo, disfrute del partido de futbol viendo a mi equipo, Grite algunos goles, probé el famoso chori de la cancha.¿Cuál es tu recuerdo más divertido? El mas divertido puede ser cuando era mas chico en época de Carnaval porque nos escondíamos con amigos y le tirábamos bombitas a las chicas que pasaban. Mis días son a todo terreno jaja, me levanto de la cama desayuno, leo el diario para informarme, escucho la radio, almuerzo, voy a la facultad ( en este momento un día por semana) vuelvo, tomo unos mates, dos veces por semana viene el quinesiólogo a casa, luego preparo información o leo para lafacu, otras dos veces por semana voy a natación, y dos días mas (domingo y jueves) voy a la radio, ceno ,duermo y comienza otro día. ¿Qué hiciste ayer? Lo que hago diariamente, me levante, desayune, fui a la facultad, volví, tome unos mates, charle con una de mis hermanas. Mañana tengo planificado levantarme , practicar para la radio, a la tarde 4 menos 20 salgo de casa para ir hacia la radio, le explico al operador la música que prepare para el día, arranco el programa; hago un breve resumen de lo que paso en la semana, llega mi hermana, comentamos sobre distintas informaciones, llegan los invitados, al finalizar el programa a las 18 horas, regreso a casa.¿Quién es tu persona favorita a tu alrededor? (opcional: porque…) Que pregunta difícil, son muchas las personas que están a mi alrededor y me hacen feliz, no quiero arriesgar para que nadie se sienta mal jja creo que lo resumo diciendo que mis favoritos son mi familia porque siempre me acompañan en todo, cada uno en diferentes cosas y momentos.Mi día es un éxito cuando… me despierto con una enorme sonrisa, cuando? todos los días!

My name is Sabri Qa’adan from Baka al Garbia, Israel.I’m 26 year old with Duchenne / Becker muscular dystrophy, which means I have a milder form. I like doing sports and playing table tennis. My dream is to reach the Olympics games. At the weekend I like to go for a walk outside. My day would be successful when I go out to do sports and play table tennis, I feel that I did something special today. If I could change something in the world, I would like to have a healthy world.

Cormac loves being active – he’s forever pretending to be flying a plane or driving a car all at top speed. Cormac is also incredibly observant and from a very young age has has a fascination with extractor fans, fire alarms and any kind of sensor; automatic doors give Cormac more pleasure than you’d think possible! This makes Cormac’s inquisitive mind a real challenge not just for us parents but his teachers. When Cormac left nursery it was remarked that his teachers had to read up on electrical engineering, ventilation systems etc just to answer his questions about how things worked and the inevitable follow up question of “why?”

Cormac’s fascination has probably stemmed from his acute hearing or at least is observation of sounds. An almost imperceivable hum will pique Cormac’s interest and he will relentlessly seek out the source of the noise and why it’s being made. He has on many occasions confused restaurant staff by pointing out their own ventilation system and the number of smoke detectors.

Cormac has a great future as an engineer or comic in front of him – we’re not 100% sure of which yet.
